All SUP Classes/Paddleboard classes and training can be accomplished through any of our SUP Dubai classes programs
Our levels of SUP classes/ paddleboard classes are:
SUP basics
Level 1: SUP Fundamentals

Level 3: Stand up Paddling for Performance

SUP CLASSES BASICS
One of the great things about stand-up paddling is that pretty much anyone, within a few minutes, can be standing up on a board and “making it go”.
IS SUP CLASSES THE COURSE FOR YOU?
The SUP Basics paddleboard classes are intended for those of you who want to try stand-up paddling for the first time, for those who have been self-taught, or for those who have perhaps been introduced to SUP by friends or family but have not had any formal paddling instruction.
Many first-timers are nervous, anticipating that maintaining balance will be difficult, or are afraid of falling in. But the truth is most people don’t fall in and few have issues with balance after the first few minutes. If you can ride a bike or ski, you can paddle aboard!
Total Paddle Boarding basics class duration is 1 Hour in a group of 5-10 persons every Tuesday/Friday/Saturday at 8:00 am
SUP Classes Level 1
- Safety first (can you swim?)
- Equipment basics (paddle sizing and board maintenance)
- Learn proper paddling technique
- Gain confidence balancing on the board
- Learn two ways to turn
- Learn how to use CORE and lower body to paddle
- Able to paddle a small distance recreationally
- Understand how to maximize fitness benefits on the paddleboard
Goal: To be able to paddle 1 km demonstrating proper form, comfortable turns, and understanding of weather conditions and safety measures for recreational paddling.
Total class duration 3 hours (it can be done on different days) in a group of 5 persons every Tuesday/Friday/Saturday at 8:30 am.
SUP Classes Level 2
- Independent stand up paddling equipment set up
- Refine sup paddling technique
- Improve paddle boarding stroke efficiency
- Work on sup board direction control
- Learn a third way to turn your sup board
- Consistently use CORE and lower body to paddle
- Able to paddle 4 km with ease
- Consider entering a race
- Reap the benefits of correct SUP technique to optimize fitness
Goal: To consistently be able to paddle for 3km at a good pace (under 40 minutes), demonstrate the proper paddling technique in varying weather conditions, feeling confident and safe on the water.
Total class duration 4 hours (it can be done on different days) in a group of 5 persons every Tuesday/Friday/Saturday at 10:00 am.
SUP Classes Level 3
- Small tune-ups of paddling technique with emphasis on REACH and HIP DRIVE
- Able to paddleboard through all weather conditions
- Upwind paddling & downwind paddling practice, side chop, moving up and down the board, sprints
- Complete direction control
- Pivot turns (buoy turns)
- Development of SUP stamina, (strength, endurance, power drills)
- Race team training
Goal: To consistently be able to paddle for 4 miles in any conditions (averaging 8 minutes/km). You will feel confident that you can handle whatever mother nature throws at you while on your paddleboard.
So whether you want to enjoy a completely effortless recreational paddle with friends and family at a leisurely pace, or enter a challenging ocean race where you are practically trying to stand on your board before you even think about paddling, with us you will have achieved a full paddling lifestyle!
